Claus Haase joined Ferring Pharmaceuticals in February 2017.
Together with his team, he is responsible for all bioanalytical activities in non-clinical and clinical development including assay development, immunogenicity, metabolism and biomarker measurement. Furthermore, he plays an active role in the governance of projects within research and early development.
Claus holds a MSc in biochemistry and a PhD in immunology & pharmacology from the University of Copenhagen and has also studied in Paris (France) and San Diego (USA).
He joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2007 and has spent more than 10 years in various leadership roles in Novo Nordisk, including both functional line management and project portfolio responsibility.
