Georg Schmies joined Ferring Pharmaceuticals in 2016 an is responsible for Global Pharmaceutical Research and Development.
His global teams in Copenhagen, Switzerland, Scotland, Israel and the United States develop novel Products for patients.
Georg studied Chemistry and did his PhD-thesis at the Max-Planck Institute for Biophysics in Frankfurt and the Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Physiology in Dortmund, holding a PhD Fellowship by the Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds.
