Georg Schmies joined Ferring Pharmaceuticals in 2016 and is responsible for Global Pharmaceutical Research and Development.
His global teams in Copenhagen, Switzerland, Scotland, Israel and the United States design and develop novel Products for patients.
Georg studied Chemistry and did his PhD-thesis with a Boehringer-Ingelheim Fonds scholarship at the Max-Planck Institute for Biophysics in Frankfurt and the Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Physiology in Dortmund.
