• Ferring Pharmaceuticals is a privately owned, research-driven, specialty biopharmaceutical group committed to building families worldwide and helping people live better lives.
• We are the leader in reproductive medicine and maternal health, and in specialty areas within gastroenterology and urology.
• Ferring has a full spectrum of products from conception to birth.
• The company was founded in Malmö, Sweden in 1950, headquartered in Switzerland.
• It is a global company with over 7,000 employees in more than 50 countries, and distribution in over 100 countries.

Soundport is Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S’ new domicile.

• The plot was bought in 2013 and the ground-breaking event took place in September 2016, and we started moving in in February 2022, having the official inauguration in October 2022.
• The building is gross 36.000m2 and 24.000m2 (BBR) for offices, laboratories, utilities, and parking. The building has 6 levels, 0 through 5, where level 4 and 5 are office space only.
• The laboratories are in core A on level 1, 2 and 3, with an area of 4.500m2.
• Soundport is located close to Copenhagen, close to Sweden and close to the airport and the rest of the world, with a fabulous view in all directions.
• Foster + Partners are the architects of the building.
• Due to the triangle shape of the lot, it was decided to have a ship-shaped and -inspired building with a Nordic expression.
• The Atrium and the balconies can be used for meetings, socializing, etc.
• All the concrete used for the building was produced on-site.
• Other materials used are Norwegian slate and oak primarily from Denmark, but also some from Germany. The material gives the building a warm interior with very good acoustics.
• The wooden floors in the office areas are also oak with a rubber membrane, constructed as on ship’s deck.
• The glass dome was constructed by the company Stahlbau Pichler and consists of 638 windows.
• From the Atrium floor to the top of the dome there is 37m and the top of the building is 43m above sea-level.
• We have 4 big trees in Atrium, all Black Olive (Latin name: Bucida Buceras) from Florida, with various ferns below the trees.
• The building was designed for 750 employees, and we are currently approximately 640 employees.
• The beautiful sculpture “Les Deux Arbres” is made by Gudmar Olovson (1936-2017) and is in bronze with blue patina.
